The Pidro Challenge card game is a game of daring and skill. You and your computer partner play against two computer opponents. After a round of bidding the highest bidder chooses the suit to be played. Dare and succeed or fail and be penalized. Easy to learn but with endless variation, this game offers hours after hours of fun and clever gameplay. The release 2.5.0 runs on Windows 10. The artificial intelligence was also improved. The Game is based on the card game Pidro. The card game Pidro is a card game played by four persons. Pidro is a team game - two team members sitting opposite to each other compete against the other team. On a high level the overall idea of Pidro is similar to Bridge meaning that the game consists of two phases 1) Bidding to be able to choose the important suit. The high bidder gets to choose 2) Playing the bid and either succeeding or failing and failing comes with a penalty The game structure is the following: Each player is dealt nine cards The player left from the dealer is the first one to bid. There is only one round of bidding going clockwise from the first person. The dealer is the last one to bid. The objective is to bid the minimum points the team shall take. The highest bidder gets to choose the suit. If a player can not bid higher he has to pass. After the round of bidding, the person with the highest bid selects the suit to play. The highest bidder starts to play out a card. Only the chosen suit can be played. The highest card of each round wins all the points played during the round. The team reaching 62 points first wns.
