The story begins on the planet Gubble, where Gubble D. Gleep was playing in his back yard when he suddenly gets sucked into a strange-looking hole. Seconds later, he finds himself standing face to face with the robot leader of the planet Rennigar. To get home Gubble must take apart a number of structures by finding tools and using them to remove all of the screws, nails, bolts and other hardware. The structures are swarming with various creatures and obstacles for Gubble D.
