This free tool allows you to determine endpoints with instant messenger apps installed (Skype, Slack, WhatsApp, Trillian and others) or receive alerts when new IM programs are installed by your users. It can be used to perform Skype for Business monitoring, track usage of non-business apps, such as WhatsApp or Viber and perform general monitoring of instant messaging for security and compliance purposes.
Action1 shows all installed and/or running messenger apps on your network and allows you to create alerts when any new applications are installed or started. You can display all installed apps or just those currently started by users. Such as you can determine which computers have Skype installed and which users have it running in their logon sessions. It''s also able to determine if certain apps are being run in portable mode, such as Miranda IM started from a USB drive.
