Server Monitor is a system management tool that continuously monitors server availability and performance. In the event of network errors, Server Monitor can alert the network administrator by email, cell phone or pager BEFORE problems get seriously out of hand.
On any type of server, Server Monitor monitors server functions using a variety of protocols and services, including:

* Novel Netware
* Free disk space
* NT Event Log
* SQL Query
* HTTP URL
* UDP
* Any Database Server (via ODBC)
* File existence
* External Application
Server fault notifications can be sent to e-mail addresses, cellular phone numbers (SMS), alphanumeric pagers, to the standard Windows 9x WinPopup application or the Windows NT/2000 Messenger Service. Server Monitor can also run external programs or batch files based on server events, such as a server going down or waking up, and log server events to a log file.
