The design of the components is to facilitate file transfers in the most secure environments. Our solution uses IIS or Personal Web Server, COM components, and Active Server Pages. The security restrictions of DMZ’s (De Militarized Zones) usually prohibits access to files on a web server from any other server/pc. Our components overcome this problem, allowing you to develop file transfer solutions for the most secure environments. Our technique requires two components, one runs on the Web Sever, the other runs on the Application server. We have tried other file upload utilities, but they are unable to work in DMZ environments. This is why we developed these components!! The Real Solutions File upload components have been tested with files to 200k. For files larger than this we have used compressed files and decompressed them when required.
