The EventTracker framework has three components. ``EventTracker Agent: A tiny, fully configurable, client component which operates as a service on NT/2000/MSCS machines. It forwards system events to EventTracker Manager. It also generates standard SNMP traps which can be forwarded to any SNMP manager such as OpenView, Unicenter etc`` EventTracker Manager: It receives and monitors events forwarded by the EventTracker Agent.
