Reverse Computing (RC) is an elusive and almost alien computing concept since it defines a fully reversible, lose-less, zero energy consumption classical and quantum computing device. RC has been hailed as a next generation platform that circumvents the limitation of Moore''s law, enables low cost quantum computing and spawns a multitude of innovative new technologies and applications. RC as per its terminology, is facilitated by implementation of specialised Reversible Gates (RG) that can persevere states of input and output for an undefined period of time. RG maintains similar thermodynamic and information entropy or simply put, does not loose information or generate heat. Heat generation is a major stumbling block to enhance processor speeds as heat melts silicon. As per Moore''s law, a microprocessors transistor density doubles every 24 months achieved by packing more transistors in a finite amount of space. The higher the transistor density, the higher the heat produced. The density reaches a critical point where packing more transistors does not yield a higher processing throughput. This bottleneck is the limitation of Moore''s law which, in theory, can be resolved by RG as they do not generate heat during processing. Hence, RG and RC are all slated to be a silver bullet to resolve processor manufacturing problems, enable high speed quantum computing and generate major breakthroughs in computing and sciences. However, we will empirically confirm that both RG and RC are grossly misunderstood, misinterpreted and incorrectly applied to classical and quantum computing concepts. In a series of upcoming papers and patents (due for release by mid 2022) we will clarify and argue our position by updating core RC terminology. Furthermore, we will also list updated operability guidelines via real world examples of RC applications. Background

Quantum computing holds the key for an exciting future by incorporating Reverse Computing (RC) into its fold. The news is full of breakthroughs in quantum computing, enhancement of processing frameworks and the ability to solve complex problems in record time. The most recent achievement was from the Sycamore chip using 53 qubits inside Googles quantum computer. The Sycamore chip produced binary strings over a million times and samples results to come up with the probability that any given string would appear. The Sycamore chip was able to achieve a solution to this problem within 200 seconds whereas, the fastest IBM computer (Summit) would take over 10,000 years. Google claimed quantum supremacy. There are several other examples of news around quantum computing such as the group of scientist led by Argonne National Laboratory that claimed that they reversed time and claims of quantum annealing chips performing faster than training algorithms. When such claims are made, scientist cast doubts, issue counterclaims and rebuttals by comparing the results with GPU, adjusted code on classical machines or plain dismissal. Since the scope of this article is not to discuss counter claims, it is important to mention that such claims should be viewed via a keyhole. These claims are for niche applications and results are misinterpreted for the quantum computing realm as a whole. While breakthroughs have applications that may be extrapolated to future developments, it is important to view them as a unique application for a particular solution, i.e., they can be applied towards a targeted problem with predefined equations, hardware and environment setup. They cannot be applied to any problem using another computing machine and that is the stumbling block that holds back the promise of quantum computing. To enable quantum computing to realise its full potential, RC needs to be updated and applied to quantum processes. RC would enable application of quantum processes across..

Satellite based positioning technology such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (EU), Beidou (China), QZSS (Japan) and IRNSS (India) are collectively referred to as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and are ubiquitously embedded across millions of terminals around the world. GNSS has unlimited public applications, is widely deployed to provide ubiquitous experiences and has touched the lives of millions. Since GNSS is an open platform anyone can build a receiver, integrate with a device and run algorithms to generate and use location data. The public and open source availability of GNSS platforms has increased our dependence and reliance on location technologies as a constant in our daily lives. GNSS is also available as a service to military and government organisations by means of a secure connection. Such encrypted and secure connections ensure that the data cannot be intercepted, injected and only be read by intended recipients. This service is not an open platform as the receivers are designed with secure sender-receiver IDs, handshaking processes, time stamped data and encrypted hashes to ensure that they are not susceptible to be compromised. GNSS providers publish their transmission meta data in public domain that include bandwidth, channel information, orbital height, satellite identifier(s), detailed orbit and operational information. This meta data is included in GNSS transmissions along with other information at designated frequencies. The transmissions are binary encoded data that ensure public and military users access appropriate broadcasts which are separated out of phase by a pre-defined number of degrees. The signals contain data that encode pseudo-ranges, carrier cycle counts, dopplers, atomic time, satellite position and other orbital information to assist in calculation of time the signal takes to travel from the satellite to the receiving chip.
