You can import this file into another folder, new mailbox or Exchange Public Folder by using the Import Outlook Folder Structure utility. Saved XML files can be used as a backup copy of your customized folder hierarchy, and can be edited with any text editor or Windows Notepad.
Most Outlook users actively use rules and folders when working with email. Here, the structure of folders can be deep and extensive. Often, you want to create a similar folder structure again. For example, if you change the mailbox, when migrating to other mail systems, or when you create new Outlook profiles. Plus, the simple porting of existing folder hierarchy to another nesting level or another folder. In Exchange Server mailboxes and Public Folders, you may need to configure permissions for each folder.

| | This free utility imports the Outlook folder structure from XML files that can contain the whole complex hierarchy with information about folder types and permissions. This file can be created with Export Outlook Folder Structure utility and edited in any text editor, even in Windows Notepad. When you import an XML file with Outlook or Exchange folder structure, you can select any mailbox, Exchange Public Folder or any other folder in Outlook. The utility creates the entire hierarchy at the selected location, and assigns the correct folder types: mail, contacts, calendar, tasks, and other. In addition, it can set the appropriate permissions in accordance with stored in XML.
When actively working with Outlook email, especially when sorting messages, you receive a large number of folders. This number only increases over time. If you need to change your email provider and simply when you create a new Outlook profile or a parent folder for the new project or client, there is a need to create the entire folder structure used previously. Often, this structure contains folder permissions defined, especially with Exchange Public Folders.
There are no built-in Outlook features to simplify copying the folder structure from one location to another. Creating folders manually is a laborious process, which leads to different errors. The utility performs a Mail Merge, creating personalized email messages, using a template, your contact base, and specified attachments. As an email template, you can use the files of standard Outlook formats: OFT or MSG. Such templates can be created directly in Outlook in the form seen by the recipients. The data source for mailing is a standard CSV spreadsheet file. You can create this table in Microsoft Excel or another program, working with tabular data and contact databases. Location for attachments is specified in the table or in the program settings. The utility allows you to use the template attachments. With this, you can send different or the same files to many recipients and combine both cases.
Unlike standard Microsoft Word mail merge tools, our utility provides a lot more features; it is faster and easier to use. | | This free utility performs a one-time or periodic backup of your mailboxes, public folders, PST data files, and other Outlook/Exchange Server storages. The utility uses MSG format for archiving; it is native and the most complete format for storing Outlook messages, contacts, appointments and meetings, tasks, notes, journal entries, documents and other items.
Regular backups of your email, contacts, calendars, and other Outlook data is required. It provides the reliability and accessibility of information in case of various failures. Such failures may be very different in nature, from damage due to software errors and network outages to the hard drive and other storage system failures. You should always remember that PST files are unreliable, often fail, and become broken. Even cloud and server-side technologies do not prevent you from accidentally deleting Outlook folders and items, which are difficult or impossible to restore.
Unlike other solutions, our backup utility uses a simple and reliable format to store backups of your important data. It creates the original Outlook/Exchange Server folder structure on your disk drive or network share. Reports show how many messages have been received, replied, forwarded, or left with no action and how much time, on average, was spent on each of these actions. This utility removes selected users from permission lists of specified Outlook folders in Office 365, Exchange Server mailboxes and Exchange Public Folders. The utility works with user permissions on folders of any type: mail, calendars, contacts, tasks and others. It allows you to revoke the permissions of selected and anonymous users, as well as default folder permissions.
With standard Outlook tools, you cannot remove the desired users from multiple folders permissions at once - you must edit the permissions for each folder individually. Also, you cannot process multiple mailboxes or Exchange public folders. Outlook provides no way to edit the folder access rights by schedule and from the command line.
