| | SigmaTizm is a virtual additive synthesizer instrument designed for live play. It can be controlled via the computer keyboard or with an external MIDI device and can also be used to control external MIDI devices.
SigmaTizm featues 128 harmonic oscillators and detailed editing of sound parameters such as attack and release harmonics, vibrato, and volume envelope. Harmonics can be changed in real-time for interesting sound textures and filtering effects.
It runs on any version of Windows from XP through Windows 10. |

| | CheckBeat is a virtual drum machine designed for quickly creating simple beats. It can be used like a fancy metronome and is handy when you need to create a backing beat for a drummer-less jam session.
Programming a beat is as simple as clicking a few checkboxes. It plays sound using .wav files, so you can use the built-in drum sounds, or any sound you can dream of. You can set the note length (check resolution) of the checkboxes and can set the tempo pretty much any number of beats per minute. You can also use less than the full 16 checkboxes in the pattern if you want to create a beat in a different time signature like 5/4 or 9/8.
CheckBeat was written using SDL2_mixer and no additional sound libraries are needed. |

In addition to being playable using a mouse or touchscreen, you can also play drum sounds using your computer keyboard, with each drum pad able to be triggered with a key on the keyboard. It also supports MIDI input and output for controlling or being controlled by external hardware such as drum machines and synthesizers.

| | SpaceTheremin is a virtual mouse-controlled theremin. Unlike a standard analog theremin, which typically has a sinewave oscillator and some basic vibrato, SpaceTheremin lets you choose from six different oscillator types (sine, square, triangle, sinc, saw, and pulse). The same waveforms can also be used for vibrato and modulation. It uses PortAudio for sound generation and works on versions of Windows from XP through Windows 10.
Use of the vibrato can result in some incredibly freaky and bizarre sounds. Set the vibrato depth (in percent) and adjust the vibrato frequency via the slider to hear the effects. A vibrato depth of 50% and a triangle waveform gives an interesting sound, for example.
Although the vibrato frequency ranges from 0.1 to 12.0 Hz in 0.1 Hz increments, checking the "modulation" box changes the range maximum to 8000. Moving this slider into the audible frequency range (20Hz and up) allows you to get strange two-oscillator frequency modulation sounds. |

| | The Vorbital Player is a free MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Wavpack, AIFF, SND, and Wave file player. It uses OpenAL and is small and compact in order to take up as little screen space as possible (though you can, of course, resize the window if you would like a larger playlist). It will also display the album art for a track if it is present.
The functions of most of the buttons are obvious, but just in case you can''t tell at first glance the folder-shaped button on the left allows you to add a file to the playlist and the minus symbol allows you to remove a file from the playlist. Double-clicking on a file in the playlist will cause it to start playing. |
