2xExplorer is a Norton Commander-type dual-pane file manager for Win9x. It offers many features missing in standard Explorer: file filters, editable navigation toolbar, detailed folder information, advanced find tool, editor/viewer, etc. The second pane enables folder content comparisons and easy file transfers. 2xExplorer aims at a non-frustrating long-term relationship with power users. At the same time it feels like the standard Explorer so newcomers can feel straight at home, too.
